Which would suit you best, Counselling or Life Coaching?

Life Coaching helps clients who are in a good and willing place, both mentally and emotionally, to receive guidance on how to make life-changes that will help them achieve their goals. The work focuses on creating and maintaining motivation, exploring obstacles, and creating plans for change.

Counselling is for people at a stage in their life where emotional and/or cognitive shifts are required. It is suited for people who are functional, and those having past trauma, depression, mood disorder, bereavement, issues with family of origin etc. and who want to improve the quality of their life on an emotional and psychological level. This form of therapy helps address and overcome problems that make clients feel bad emotionally and mentally or that impair their ability to function well

Psychosynthesis Life Coaching takes a holistic view of the individual’s personality and presenting challenges. It focuses on the manifestation of the individual’s goals and outcomes, helping to articulate and work towards them through planning and action. Coaching does not focus on the past, but might tackle aspects of it that might be blocking the individual’s progress and self-fulfillment. Life Coaching will generally be short-term, but can also be long-term depending on the individual’s needs. It is designed to support conscious evolution and a response to the "Call of Self”. Life Coaching is most useful for those who feel ready to deepen the quality of their lives, perhaps furthering their professional carriers and their self-fulfillment.
