In order to successfully help you through this self-discovery and healing, I aim at establishing an authentic, safe and trusting relationship for our counselling process. I work together with you as a colleague in the service of your growth, calling upon intuition, imagination, emotions, and thoughtful reflection. I tailor my psychotherapy approach to each client’s individual needs and preferences, beginning with deep empathetic listening, and drawing on other complementary methods as needed: guided meditation, proprioceptive writing, journaling, role-playing, art and movement, imagery, inner dialogue, conversations with a wise being, and Reiki.
In our collaborative work, we address all parts of your being, enabling you to work through potentially self-sabotaging, destructive behaviors, unhelpful mindsets and internal conflicts. These might be hindering your healing and growth, some of which you might already be conscious of while others might emerge through our psychotherapeutic work.
By working through these challenges, you will rediscover inner resources and strengths, which will aid your personal growth and development. This process is enhanced when you start to develop growing inner cooperation and feel confident in accessing every part of your being, letting your inner Self act freely.
Underlying my work with you, is my belief that out of every crisis or challenge, something new is seeking to emerge that will lead you on to the path of growth and transformation, and that while we cannot always control what comes our way, we have a choice about how we respond and relate to events. I aim to help you find a new sense of grounding and direction that becomes a source of empowerment for you even after periods of suffering.
